Cellulite plagues the vast majority of women, so why hasn’t an effective treatment become as mainstream as facials for example? There are two main reasons why; a) too many products have failed to live up to their promises and consumers have lost trust, and b) because around 99% of treatments and products don’t address all 4 areas that are essential for successful cellulite reduction.
Cellulite is the result of subcutaneous fat cells pushing up against the skin, separated by connective tissue, called septa. It is the septa pulling down that causes the valley in the skin, and the clusters of fat cells pushing up that creates the hill. With age comes diminishing collagen and elastin, and hence the skin also loses its strength and elasticity.
